— About Little Acorns

Built on Love, Learning & Fresh Air

Little Acorns opened in 2009 with a simple philosophy: children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and free to explore. Fifteen years later, that philosophy hasn't changed — but our facilities have grown into something truly special.

Our Ofsted Outstanding rating reflects the dedication of our 18-strong team, our purpose-built forest school, and the genuine care we put into every child's development journey from their very first day.

What Our Families Say

"Our daughter has been at Little Acorns since she was 4 months old. She is now 3 and absolutely thriving. The team know her so well — they notice things we don't even notice at home. We couldn't be happier."

Lucy & James P.
March 2026

"We were so nervous about leaving our son for the first time. The settling-in process was so thoughtful and gentle. He ran in on his third day without even looking back. That said everything."

Priya M.
January 2026

"Both our children have come through Little Acorns and both started school reading confidently. The pre-school programme is exceptional. We recommend them to every parent we know."

Nursery Website Design UK — Why Your Website Is Your Most Powerful Enrolment Tool

Parents choosing a nursery are making one of the most emotionally significant decisions of their lives. They are trusting you with their child. And before they ever visit, before they ever speak to you, they are judging your nursery by your website.

A 2024 survey of UK parents found that 80% shortlisted nurseries based on their website before visiting. Nurseries with professional, warm, and informative websites consistently outperform those with outdated or generic sites — even when the actual provision is identical.

The most effective nursery websites do three things: they showcase the warmth and quality of the environment through photography and design, they clearly communicate Ofsted ratings and regulatory compliance, and they make it easy for parents to book a tour or get in touch.

Product Systems AI builds bespoke nursery websites that are warm in design, professional in execution, and optimised to rank for "nursery near me" and "childcare [your town]" searches. Every site includes Ofsted badge integration, government funding information, and a tour booking form.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a nursery website cost in the UK?
A professional nursery website from Product Systems AI starts from £1,800. This includes bespoke design, Ofsted rating display, age-group room pages, a tour booking form, government funding information, and local SEO optimisation. Most nurseries see a return on investment within 3–4 new enrolments.
Why do nurseries need a modern website to attract parents?
Parents choosing a nursery are making one of the most important decisions of their lives. Research shows that 80% of parents shortlist nurseries based on their website before visiting. A professional, warm, and informative website is the single most effective way to attract new enrolments.
How can a nursery website help with Ofsted Outstanding status?
We prominently display your Ofsted rating with official badges and link to your full inspection report. We also create dedicated pages for your EYFS approach, safeguarding policies, and staff qualifications — all of which reinforce your Outstanding status and build parental confidence.
Can a nursery website integrate with government funding information?
Yes. We build dedicated pages explaining 15-hour and 30-hour free childcare entitlements, eligibility criteria, and how to apply. This reduces the number of phone enquiries about funding and helps parents understand their options before visiting.
Do you build websites for childminders and home-based childcare?
Yes. We build websites for all types of childcare providers — day nurseries, pre-schools, childminders, holiday clubs, and after-school clubs. Each site is tailored to the specific type of provision and the parents it needs to attract.
